OSG... check. Still working on falling out of love and falling in love.

Song of the blog:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoTl4pb0qzE&feature=fvst

I'll put this at beginning cause its funny:

Rosa:  well the moral of the story is your blog > seppies blog
(is he still there)
 me:  what about roshans?
 Rosa:  oh yeah
haha
she doesnt write
it's an issue

bring it haterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Who knew Seppy couldn't act? I did and now everyone else will too
The day begins with me finding myself next to Seppy in bed. I took this as an omen that today will be a great day. We go to our hostel (first hostel I've ever been to). Then we make our way to Sepanta's place of business, Sciences Po

So I think that the Paris metro ticket machines only take change. I was only carrying cash and wanted coins and i thought I spotted a coin machine. Smart.
NOT SMART. Its a condom machine. I am standing there for 15 minutes (more like 2) trying to put 20 euros in a condom machine at 10 AM. I wonder what the people around us thought. We get on metro AND ARRIVE (other things happend in between but i think i am being too detailed?)

We went there, cause Seppy was going to perform a play for his final exam. To show our support we decided to go. In this scene Mr. Mohseni will be playing the part of Paris in a play that is about a play writing a play while the play is going on (confused? well everyone was. Great idea but it was hard to execute). Without further delay I give you, Mr. Mohseni

He was so good that he was even in TWO plays.
I am starting to realize that this whole post is about Sepanta. I should change the title, but I guess there are more hours in a day and only so little Sepanta can offer. After the plays we head on over to the Latin Quarter I saw the best price slash EVER
We then decided to the most hipster thing possible. Have greek food in the latin quarter... so ironic.
Really though, like every other place in the Latin Quarter is a greek gyro place. Its so ironic that I am still confused. The confusing got so intense that I got myself a Super Ass Gyro
Then I tried to get a little fancy and try "real" French foods. Of course you have to start out with escargot. Now if anyone knows me I don't try fancy foods, but when in Paris, do as the Parisians.

Sepanta was the first person to try it and WE TOOK A VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still wasn't impressed, but crossed off the list.
Afterwards we ventured to a NYU party in Paris. This was the craziest ratioed party i have even seen in my life. It was 6 guys to 40+ girls. The apartment was super cool too. When you walk in the first thing you see up the stairs is....

SPIDERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seppy was also the only person that had a wine bottle opener, so at one point in the night 5 people came up to him and asked if they could open their bottle of wine for them. You can also see by the picture just how weird the ratio was, and also how big of a pimp Sepanta is.
Then we walk back to the hostel (of course we get lost). The worst think about France is how early everything closes. Maybe it was the location but it seemed like every where was dead and we could not get a taxi. We walked for 30 minutes (mostly because we got lost). Being that Sepanta is such a good host he takes my bed and I sleep on the floor. Even when its not his apartment, he still thinks he owns the place. This was the beginning of the worst sleep I have ever had in my life.
Seppy is getting ready for sleep.

Second song:

THE LOUVREEEE!! with pictures and analysis:
The Louvre is HUGGEEEEE. I had no idea how big it really was. Obvs we went there to see the fobby lions. The most important part of the louvre obvs.

Which lead me to take the best picture I have ever taken

Also the most hipster thing you can do, is to go to Lourve and not take a picture of the Mona Lisa (btw its croweded and I don't get why every one likes it so much. It doesn't move me at all. I need art to move me.)

Analysis!!!!!!!! but not really. I will critique the art thats there

The egyptians made art representing their gods and mummified shit(cats that is in this picture

Medieval people glorified god, knights, kinds and monks.

And french people thinkers (post french revolution)
It was interesting to see thinkers being the "rock" stars of a time period. This speaks to French people even today because they are very ideas and thinking culture and not so much going crazy. They would rather drink wine and smoke than to dance.

Favorite art pieces:

Pictures on left and right are both the only "love" pieces i saw at the Louvre. Everything else was misery and death. It was actually kinda depressed. Only love that was shown was between a mother and a child but no real love one. The Status in the middle is Voltaire. I like how hes a weak person (every status next to him was some guy overly jacked) but with his pen he was able to be powerful which speak to how the French saw their thinkers.

Seeing my favorite person:

^Miriam makes me smile. All the time. Were going to Barcelona together.

I AM IN AMSTERDAM(preluded by more things on the French):
On the ride there met a girl named Rebecca (not sure how to spell it) didnt get last name. Super cool. Can someone find her? Study abroad in France. Fams in Jersey. Goes to Princeton. graduates 2011. French major.

We talked to Belgium (her boyfriends family is there). Ill bullet point it cause no ones reading this far and I am writing toooo much.
  • Getting ahead is not in French culture. Apparently we take capitalistic friends fore granted.
  • Smiling is silly in France so they don't do it.
  • The hardest thing is to be funny in another language cause you don't know the meaning of each word. You can speak a language when you can make a joke.
  • French have idea of educated while Americans look down on it. This stems from the working hard mentality that American's have.
  • French education system sucks.
AND NOW AMSTERDAM
Its beautiful
my sisters flights been delays shes sending me pics of her getting free wine and crackers (so french)

Wonder who reads this/all of this. Probs everyone skims. If you read this please holler. It makes me feel good. I might stop writing so much though.

HOLLEERRRRRRRRRRR <3 and kinda miss home. I was glad I met someone for first time. Also in first hostel. Its irish and broish. Sepanta is writing his essay. He's still being a good host :)

  2. Read. i think the best part is that the song you post lasts just as long as it takes to get to the end of the post or until a second song is posted.

  7. I read the entire post!
Also, when I was in Paris.. everything closed early.. even all those shops around the Arc de triomphe.. It was annoying.. We ended up eating around 9 and the only thing we could find open was a gay bar...

Also, did you hear about the recent finding that there are letters and numbers in Mona Lisa's eyes? I don't think it's supposed to be moving.. I think it was b/c Leonardo da vinci was so weird and supposedly connected to the knights templar humm
